Bring your neighbors and friends for an afternoon of fun in the streets of downtown Annapolis. We are closing down two streets (Maryland Ave and Market Space) giving you two great locations to hang out and enjoy the spring season and Earth Day in the community.
The events start at 10am on Maryland Avenue with vendors, music, café dining at Galway Bay Irish Restaurant and Pub, a food truck, in store shopping and Earth Day events until 5pm.
Starting at noon the festivities expand to Market Space. They are bringing out the grills, the bar and a stage for live music. Look for some good food from the Annapolis Market House, Middleton Tavern, McGarvey’s Saloon and Oyster Bar and Federal House Bar & Grille. This block party will be the perfect place to spend the afternoon with live music, food and drinks until 6pm.
These two events are just a 3 minute walk from each other via Fleet Street and State Circle or pick a longer route so you can get in even more shopping along the way.
Free parking is available all day at the Calvert Street Garage (19 St. Johns St) and free parking (until 4pm) or $2 all day is available at the John Whitmore Garage (25 Clay St). Both are a short walk away or you can take the free circulator bus from the parking garages to the events.
This event is sponsored by the Downtown Annapolis Partnership, Maryland Avenue and State Circle Association, Annapolis Market House, Middleton Tavern, McGarvey’s Saloon and Oyster Bar and Federal House Bar & Grille.
