Campbell Park (City Dock) in downtown Annapolis. This all-inclusive family fun-fest, which benefits local organizations including the Anne Arundel County SPCA, Civil Air Patrol, Eastport Elementary School’s Reading is Fundamental Program, and the LightHouse Shelter.

 It will feature a Tug of War across Spa Creek to City Dock, and on the Eastport side, live music from local bands including the Elementary and Middle Schoool bands, great food and beverages. There will be a children’s area with a moon bounce, face painters, art and crafts stations and more on the Eastport side.

As with all things MRE, the goal of the Tug of War and Tugfest is to celebrate the unique community that is Eastport – its people, its business and its maritime heritage, and … to have some neighborly, competitive fun with our bretheren across the harbor.

While there will be tugging on the Annapolis side, the Tug Fest party that follows will be on the Eastport side, on Second Street between Severn Avenue and Back Creek.
