The second annual Annapolis Oyster Roast will take place at the Annapolis Maritime Museum on Saturday March 24, from noon to 4 p.m. The festivities include the burning of the socks – a spring tradition at the Museum – plus live music by Them Eastport Oyster Boys and Sly 45!
There will be an oyster shucking contest, family activities and exhibits that highlight the importance of the oyster to the health of the Chesapeake Bay as well as this area’s unique maritime heritage. Of course, there will be plenty of oysters – raw, roasted and fried – for a modest additional fee BBQ, hotdogs, hamburgers plus beer, wine and soft drinks.
