Annapolis Maritime Museum presents Muddy Creek Artists Guild’s

‘Chesapeake Bay Collection’ of photography, February 5 – March 19

A diverse group of photographers from the Muddy Creek Artists Guild will exhibit work with a maritime theme at the Annapolis Maritime Museum from February 5 to March 19. The exhibit highlights the Guild’s “Chesapeake Bay Collection“ which focuses on the natural wonder of the Chesapeake Bay watershed and the maritime community that work and live on its shores. All artwork is for sale. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Museum’s education programs. The artists will meet and greet the public at a reception on Saturday, February 5, from noon to 4 p.m.

The Muddy Creek Artists Guild celebrated its second anniversary with the launch of the Chesapeake Bay Collection at their last exhibition in December. The guild comprises 120 members who work or reside in South Anne Arundel County, south of the South River, and this collection includes their works that were created, captured, or inspired by the close proximity to the Bay.

The exhibit is free and open to the public each Thursday through Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. The last day of the show coincides with the Museum’s first annual Annapolis Oyster Roast, which has an admission fee. See www.amaritime.org for complete schedule.
