ART BETWEEN THE CREEKS FALL SHOW OPENS NOV. 14

‘IS’ features the work of 21 local artists
Artists’ reception Nov. 14 – ‘Bin Sunday’ Nov. 16

The artists of the Art Between the Creeks group invite you to their fall show IS, opening with a gala artists’ reception on Friday, Nov. 14, at the Annapolis Yacht Club’s Sailing Center.

The show will run Nov. 14-16. It will feature the work of 21 local artists, including one, Eric Roberge, who is new to the group. While some of the work is traditional, the artists in this group consider themselves different from the mainstream, or Main Street, art scene in Annapolis. They seek to challenge themselves, their audience, and other artists with their eclectic work.

The artists themselves will create a temporary gallery at the AYC’s Sailing Center, at the foot of the Spa Creek Bridge, on the Eastport side. The opening reception will be held on Friday, Nov. 14, from 6 – 9 p.m.

Media represented includes oil and acrylic painting, watercolors, sculpture, pen and ink, ink on wood, photography and multi-media.

This Art Between the Creeks show will feature works by these 21 artists:

John Bildahl                             Sherri Bramlett
Jason Duden                           Lorraine Ellerson
Cindy Fletcher-Holden            Keith Fletcher

For those who cannot attend the opening, the show may be viewed on Thursday, Nov. 13, on an informal preview basis from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The artists will be putting the finishing touches on the show, adjusting lights, painting the walls, and setting up during that time, but the public is welcome.

Bin Sunday – On Sunday, Nov. 16, the artists will bring additional works to the gallery for a tent sale known as ‘Bin Sunday – Beyond the Show.’ These are works that could not be accommodated in the regular run of the show. They will be for sale on Sunday only, in a tent just outside the gallery from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., just in time for holiday shopping.

Show hours:
Friday, Nov. 14 – 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with artists’ reception from 6 to 9 p.m.
