Make fall a season of service!

The September 11th National Day of Service may have passed, but that doesn’t mean volunteering has to stop! Governor Larry Hogan has declared September 11th- October 10th as Day to Serve month in Maryland. Continue to do good for your community by volunteering. Not sure how to get involved? Visit the Day to Serve website or register for a Volunteer Match account to find ways to get involved.

The Y 2019 Turkey Trot

It’s time to hit the streets! Join the Y of Central Maryland at their annual Turkey Trot 5K, which will be held Thursday, November 28th on the Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) campus in Arnold.

The Y’s Arnold and Pasadena locations are both looking for volunteers to join their Volunteer Street team. These volunteers will promote and raise awareness for the same event held at AACC from now until November 28th.
As a bonus, the first 100 people who join the Volunteer Street Team will be given a limited-edition Turkey Trot t-shirt.    The Arnold Volunteer Street Team Registration and Pasadena’s Volunteer Street Team Registration are available online. Email Rachel Martin with questions regarding the Arnold Volunteer Street Team, and email Matt Lewis with questions for Pasadena’s Volunteer Street Team.
